Overview
QuickMeetly can generate conference links automatically when a meeting is booked. To enable this, connect the relevant app from the Apps page and then select it as the Location when creating or editing an event type.
Supported Integrations
| App | What happens on booking |
|---|---|
| Google Meet | A new Google Meet room is created and the link is sent to the guest |
Connecting an App
- Go to Dashboard → Apps.
- Find the app you want to connect.
- Click Connect.
- You will be redirected to the provider’s OAuth consent screen — grant the requested permissions.
- After authorisation, you are redirected back to QuickMeetly. The button changes to Disconnect, confirming the connection is active.
Disconnecting an App
- Go to Dashboard → Apps.
- Click Disconnect next to the connected app.
- Confirm in the dialog.
Disconnecting an app affects all event types currently using that app as their location. Those event types will be automatically disabled. Update the location on those event types and re-enable them after disconnecting.
Using a Connected App in an Event Type
- Go to Dashboard → Event Types and open an event type (or create a new one).
- In the Location dropdown, select the connected app (e.g. Google Meet).
- Save the event type.
From that point on, every confirmed booking for that event type will include an auto-generated conference link in the confirmation email and on the booking details page.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Solution |
|---|---|
| The app button shows Connect even after authorising | Refresh the page; if the problem persists, try disconnecting and reconnecting |
| Meetings are not getting conference links | Check that the event type’s Location is set to the connected app |
| OAuth redirect fails | Ensure pop-ups and redirects are not blocked by your browser |
