Overview
An Availability schedule tells QuickMeetly which hours you can accept bookings. You can have multiple named schedules — for example, one for client calls and another for internal syncs — and assign each one to a different event type.
Create an Availability Schedule
- Go to Dashboard → Availability.
- Click New Availability.
- Enter a Name for the schedule (e.g.
Business Hours). - Select your Timezone — all time slots are interpreted in this timezone.
- Toggle the Default switch if this schedule should be pre-selected when creating new event types.
Configuring Weekly Time Slots
Each day of the week (Monday – Sunday) can be independently enabled or disabled and given one or more time windows.
| Action | How |
|---|---|
| Enable a day | Toggle the switch next to the day name |
| Add a slot | Click + next to the day to add a start / end time pair |
| Remove a slot | Click the trash icon next to a slot |
| Change times | Use the start-time and end-time dropdowns |
Time slots must not overlap within the same day. If you need a break mid-day (e.g. lunch), add two separate slots: one for the morning and one for the afternoon.
Example
Monday 09:00 – 12:00 | 13:00 – 17:00
Tuesday 09:00 – 17:00
Wednesday (disabled)
Thursday 09:00 – 17:00
Friday 09:00 – 13:00
Special Dates
Special dates let you override the standard weekly schedule for specific calendar dates — either to block a day off or to add custom hours.
Adding a Special Date
- Click Add Special Date at the bottom of the schedule form.
- Pick a Date from the calendar picker.
- Choose the Type:
- Mark unavailable — marks the entire day as unavailable, regardless of the weekly schedule
- Custom Hours — replaces the weekly schedule for that day with the slots you define
- If you chose Custom Hours, add one or more time slots.
Use Cases
- Block a public holiday as Mark unavailable
- Offer extended evening hours on a specific date as Custom Hours
Managing Existing Schedules
From the Availability list you can:
| Action | How |
|---|---|
| Edit | Click the edit (pencil) icon or select Edit from the ⋯ menu |
| Duplicate | Select Duplicate from the ⋯ menu — creates a copy with “(copy)” appended to the name |
| Delete | Select Delete from the ⋯ menu and confirm — any event types linked to this schedule will be automatically reassigned to the default availability |
The default availability schedule cannot be deleted. To delete it, first mark a different schedule as default. When a non-default schedule is deleted, all event types that were using it are automatically reassigned to the current default schedule.
Default Schedule
Only one schedule can be the default. Marking a schedule as default automatically pre-fills the Availability field when you create a new event type, saving time if you primarily use a single schedule.
