Booking Page

Understand how guests book meetings with you through your public profile and event type pages.

Overview

Every QuickMeetly account has a public profile and per-event-type booking pages that guests can visit without signing in. These pages show your availability in the guest’s own timezone and guide them through the booking process in a few clicks.

Your Public Profile

Your profile page lists all your enabled event types:

https://quickmeetly.com/<your-username>

It displays:

  • Your avatar, name, and bio
  • A card for each enabled event type with its title, duration options, and location type

Guests click an event type card to open the booking page for that meeting.

The Booking Page

The per-event booking page is at:

https://quickmeetly.com/<your-username>/<event-type-url>

What Guests See

  1. Your profile info — name, avatar, and event description (rendered as Markdown if you used formatting in the description field).
  2. Duration selector — if the event type has multiple durations, the guest chooses one.
  3. Timezone selector — defaults to the guest’s local timezone; they can change it.
  4. Calendar — only dates with available slots are selectable; past dates and days outside your availability are greyed out.
  5. Time slots — after picking a date, available slots for that day are listed. Slots account for your availability schedule, existing meetings, buffers, and minimum notice.
  6. Booking form — once a slot is selected, the guest fills in their name, email, and any other required fields (phone number for phone events, address for in-person events with guest-provided address).

Booking Flow Step by Step

1. Guest visits your profile → picks an event type
2. Selects a duration (if multiple are offered)
3. Adjusts their timezone if needed
4. Picks an available date on the calendar
5. Picks an available time slot
6. Fills in name, email, and any additional fields
7. Submits the booking form
8. Redirected to the confirmation page

Confirmation Page

After booking, the guest lands on a confirmation page showing:

  • Meeting date, time, and duration (in their timezone)
  • Location details (conference link, address, or phone prompt)
  • Add to Calendar buttons to save the event directly to Google Calendar or Outlook, or download an .ics file compatible with any calendar application (Apple Calendar, Outlook desktop, etc.)
  • A Cancel button if they need to cancel before the meeting
  • Guests can reschedule their booking unless it is awaiting approval.

The confirmation page URL can be bookmarked or shared and always reflects the current status of the meeting (Pending, Confirmed, Cancelled).

The Add-to-Calendar buttons are shown for Scheduled and Rescheduled meetings. They are hidden for Pending and Cancelled meetings.

Real-Time Status Updates

Booking pages use a live connection, so if you confirm, reject, or cancel a meeting, the guest’s page updates in real time without requiring a manual refresh.

QR Codes

From the Event Types list in your dashboard, you can generate a QR code for any event type booking link. Useful for:

  • Business cards and printed materials
  • Conference presentations
  • In-person networking events

Tips for Guests

  • The calendar only shows dates at least as far in the future as the event type’s Minimum Notice setting — guests cannot book last-minute if you have set a notice requirement.
  • All times are shown in the guest’s selected timezone — no conversion is needed.
  • Guests can cancel their own bookings from the confirmation page up until the meeting starts.
